Responsibilities
• You’ll architect systems for scale, with a focus on data quality and platform reliability. • You'll work cross-functionally with data analysts, platform engineers, and product engineers. • You'll influence the direction of our data platform roadmap, including our analytics pipelines and personalization features. • You'll support the operations of data platform systems, including observability and requests to our team. • You’ll work with the data infrastructure to maintain and improve the data availability for the whole company. • You’ll help structure our data, so it’s an invaluable asset in our dynamic business environment. • THIS ROLE IS A FIT FOR YOU IF: • You enjoy evolving infrastructure as part of a team, pushing the boundaries of Artsy's platform. • Have experience working in a platform role, providing both knowledge and tooling to your non-platform engineer colleagues. • You are currently authorized to live and work in Berlin or London • It’s a plus if you/it’s even better if you… • If you have experience standardizing and scaling Machine Learning operations • If you have experience with data security • This role is unlikely to be a good match if you…. • Don't like interacting outside the data platform team. • Don't like to look for opportunities to optimize data platform systems. • Think that the data platform scope is limited to data pipelines • What success looks like in your first 3-6 months: • Full grasp of the data platform systems • Can contribute effectively to the data platform roadmap • Work together with other teams, like pairing with the data analysts • We know no one is a perfect match on paper, so if you’re passionate about this role, please apply!
