Requirements

  • Writing well designed, testable, readable and scalable code
  • Assisting in the development of new features, enhancements of existing features
  • Review code with peers to provide and get feedback on implemented solution
  • Contribute to documentation where necessary
  • Write and maintain unit and automated tests
  • Coordinate and work closely with team members and other engineering teams
  • Keep up with the latest web technologies, patterns and design.
  • 5+ years of experience building robust, complex, and accessible user interfaces and applications
  • Strong experience using React, JavaScript ES6/TypeScript
  • Familiar with AWS
  • Strong understanding of web fundamentals
  • Strong Analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A commitment to unit and automated testing of UI components and interaction flows
  • Proven experience utilizing AI tools (e.g., Cursor, ChatGPT) to streamline development workflows, improve engineering efficiency, and automate repetitive tasks

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop responsive user interfaces for web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as ReactJS, Angular etc., with a focus on accessibility.
  • Collaborate closely with the backend team to ensure seamless integration of frontend components into shared services (CSC GENERATION).
  • Optimize and troubleshoot web applications for performance issues using profiling tools like Chrome DevTools or Firefox Developer Edition, ensuring a smooth user experience.
  • Implement responsive design principles across all platforms to ensure consistent UI/UX regardless of device size or resolution.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the latest web technologies and best practices in frontend development through continuous learning and professional networking within the industry.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback for team members' work to improve overall quality standards of our projects.
  • Contribute to technical documentation by writing clear instructions or guides that help other developers understand how specific features are implemented.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders through regular meetings and presentations to gather requirements, discuss design decisions, and ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Monitor application performance using analytics tools like Google Analytics or Mixpanel; analyze user behavior data to identify areas for improvement in the UI/UX of our web applications.
  • Stay informed about industry trends by attending conferences, workshops, and other professional development events related to frontend engineering.
