Requirements
• Full stack Ruby on Rails (Frontend & Backend)
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to provide elegant solutions to Wrapbook customer problems • Lead and decompose complex, ambiguous projects into actionable technical tasks • Take ownership of feature delivery from concept to production • Write performant, scalable, and secure backend code in Ruby on Rails • Design and optimize data models and SQL queries (PostgreSQL) • Participate in code reviews, mentor and learn from fellow engineers, and help raise the technical bar • Ensure code is well-tested and well-architected • Actively improve our tools, processes and best practices • What you’ll have: • What you’ll have: • You have a strong technical background and experience building production web applications • Strong experience as a full stack or backend developer with Ruby (Rails experience is a bonus) • You understand how to write, analyze and optimize SQL queries (PostgreSQL is a plus) • You are customer-focused and like to pay attention to detail and value quality • You have experience building Ruby on Rails applications and APIs
