Requirements
• Essential: • Essential: • BSc in Biology or a related technical field, or equivalent industrial experience. • 5+ years industrial experience within a pharma, CRO or biotech environment. • 2-3 years’ experience of directly implementing or managing international CROs in an industrial environment. • Solid understanding of the drug discovery process with an emphasis in biology and/or biologics. • Track record of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. • Comfortable communicating with different types of audiences at various levels of seniority, including writing and presenting business cases and building strong relationships. • Strong organisation skills, and detail-oriented approach to work. • Culture and values • Culture and values • We are guided by our shared values. Responsibilities
• Drive the creation and implementation of a CRO management system and create effective ways of working. • Manage vendor relationships, monitoring efficiency and effectiveness of projects, and holding CROs accountable for deliverables. • Be involved in selecting new CROs where appropriate, based on your knowledge of the market as well as the criteria that you will set out in partnership with drug discovery project team members. • Work with Project Leads, Legal, Finance and Project Management to draw up new contracts, including working through the various administrative elements and vendor assessments. • Assist in developing and implementing tools to simplify internal processes and improve user experience.
