Requirements
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer (senior-level) • C#: 5+ years building production systems • .NET / .NET Core: 5+ years delivering enterprise-grade applications • SQL: 5+ years working with relational databases in production environments • Azure / Azure Cloud Services: 3+ years working with cloud-based services (important but not core) • Strong experience working on complex, high-availability systems • Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment • Comfortable owning complex technical work and seeing it through end-to-end • Back-end / Front-end split:~70% Back-end/~30% Front-end • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (as a substitute for some Azure exposure) • Prior experience contributing to or scaling mature SaaS platforms • Experience leading technical initiatives or projects
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain software applications to meet business needs within the scope of work provided. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects as needed for successful delivery outcomes. • Write clean, efficient code that adheres to best practices in coding standards and guidelines established by Smart Working Solutions. • Test software applications thoroughly using various testing methodologies to ensure quality assurance before deployment or release. • Troubleshoot issues within the application environment when necessary as part of routine maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal downtime for users. • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to Smart Working Solutions' software development needs; participate in knowledge sharing sessions or workshops if required by management. • Document codebase changes meticulously using version control systems like Git, ensuring traceability of modifications for future reference. • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements fully before commencing development tasks; provide regular updates on progress through status reports or meetings as needed by management. • Participate in code reviews conducted internally within Smart Working Solutions, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement of the software quality assurance process when required by management.
