• Develop and maintain the backend systems for our communications platform to ensure high performance, reliability, scalability, security, and compliance with industry standards. • Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders throughout all stages of development life cycle (e.g., requirements gathering, design review). • Implement new features as well as enhancements to existing functionalities based on user feedback or business needs while ensuring code quality through rigorous testing practices. • Optimize system performance and resource utilization by identifying bottlenecks in the backend systems using profiling tools and applying appropriate optimizations, such as caching strategies, database indexing, load balancing techniques, etc. • Monitor application logs to identify potential issues or errors that may affect user experience; troubleshoot these problems promptly while working with other teams (e.g., frontend developers) when necessary. • Ensure the security of backend systems by implementing best practices for secure coding and regularly reviewing code changes, as well as staying up to date on emerging threats in cybersecurity; participate actively in our internal knowledge sharing sessions or workshops related to this topic whenever possible. • Document system architecture diagrams (e.g., ERDs), database schema designs, API endpoints and workflow specifications clearly for future reference by other team members as well as external stakeholders when needed; maintain these documents up-to-date throughout the development process while ensuring consistency across all versions of documentation available within our organization's knowledge base. • Participate in code reviews with peers to identify potential issues or areas for improvement before merging changes into main branches, as well as providing constructive feedback on others’ work when appropriate; actively seek opportunities during sprint retrospectives and other team meetings where you can share your knowledge about best practices related specifically relevant topics (e.g., performance optimization techniques) with colleagues who may benefit from hearing more detailed explanations beyond what they learn through reading documentation alone or attending training sessions organized by our internal trainers/mentors regularly available within company resources without charging employees extra fees for external courses outside of their contracted work hours unless explicitly requested otherwise due to specialized needs not covered in existing materials provided internally. • Attend regular meetings with other teams (e.g., frontend developers) where relevant topics related specifically towards backend development are discussed; actively participate by sharing insights gained from personal experience working on similar projects previously completed within our organization or elsewhere if applicable while respecting confidentiality agreements signed between employers and employees regarding proprietary information shared during these sessions. • Maintain open communication channels with other team members (e.g., frontend developers) through email,
