Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; 3+ years of relevant game development experience. • Solid CS fundamentals with deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networking. • Proficient in C++ or C#, with strong understanding of language internals and good code architecture skills. • Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) in a real production environment. • Systematic understanding of game AI — familiar with behavior trees, state machines, pathfinding algorithms (e.g., A*, NavMesh), and related techniques. • Strong problem-solving ability; capable of independently owning module design and delivery. • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural, international team environment. • Shipped experience on a large-scale commercial game title. • Research or production experience with AIGC, code LLMs, AI automation, or AI Agent frameworks. • Familiarity with machine learning or reinforcement learning fundamentals, with practical experience applying them to game AI. • Experience in game server development; knowledge of high-concurrency and distributed system design. • Prior experience working on overseas projects or in cross-regional teams.
Responsibilities
• Participate in the design and development of game AI systems for the Varsapura project, including NPC behavior, decision-making, pathfinding, and perception systems, contributing to a believable and immersive game world. • Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and engineers to translate gameplay designs into stable, high-performance code implementations. • Participate in the development and optimization of AI-related modules in Unreal Engine; work through performance bottlenecks to ensure a smooth player experience. • Participate in game server development — implementing gameplay features, ensuring server stability under high concurrency and high player load, and supporting live operations. • Explore and apply cutting-edge AI technologies — including AIGC, large language models, and AI Agents — to game content generation, development workflow automation, or intelligent tooling. • Take part in technical design reviews and contribute to the team's knowledge sharing and best practice accumulation in game AI.
