Requirements
• Skills needed: Staff Software Engineer with experience in Crypto custody systems; proficiency in programming languages commonly used for software development is a plus. • Years of experience: At least 2 years' experience preferred but not mandatory as we are looking to grow our team and provide opportunities for professional growth. • Education: A Bachelor’ths degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications such as Certified Cryptocurrency Professional (CCP) can be advantageous but not required at this stage of the hiring process. • Must-haves: Experience with blockchain technology and understanding of cryptographic principles is highly desirable for candidates to ensure they are well equipped to handle sensitive digital assets securely within our custody services.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain software systems for cryptocurrency custody services within the Robinhood platform. • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards related to digital asset management. • Collaborate closely with other team members on projects involving blockchain technology integration into existing financial products offered by Robinhood. • Test new features, fixes and updates before they are released for public use in accordance with the company's quality assurance protocols. • Monitor system performance to ensure optimal efficiency of cryptocurrency custody operations within the platform. • Provide technical support as needed during peak trading hours or when issues arise that require immediate attention and resolution.
