Requirements
• Mobile product expertise • 3–5+ years of product management experience with primary focus on mobile applications (iOS and Android) • Demonstrated track record of shipping high-quality mobile products in startup or high-growth environments, including full ownership of App Store and Google Play release processes • Deep understanding of mobile architecture constraints, UX/UI principles, and the tradeoffs between native and cross-platform development • Experience with mobile A/B testing frameworks (Firebase Remote Config, Optimizely) and analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Firebase) • Familiarity with App Store Optimization (ASO) fundamentals and how ratings, reviews, and store metadata affect organic growth • AI-augmented product practice — this is a must, not a nice-to-have • UX prototyping: Uses AI-powered design tools (Framer AI, Galileo AI, Uizard) to rapidly generate and iterate on mobile UI concepts before engineering investment • UX prototyping • User research synthesis: Experience using LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT) to process qualitative feedback at scale — interviews, surveys, support data — into actionable insight clusters • User research synthesis • Technical participation: Comfortable using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to explore feasibility and reduce round-trips with engineering • Technical participation • Workflow automation: Ability to build lightweight automations (n8n, Make) to streamline squad operations without relying on engineering capacity • Workflow automation • Analytical acceleration: Uses AI to speed up data analysis, identify usage patterns, and draft structured documents faster • Analytical acceleration • Collaboration & communication • Strong cross-functional collaboration across engineering, design, data, and business stakeholders • Communicates product vision, roadmap, and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences • Writes specs, decisions, and updates that others can act on without a follow-up meeting • Fluent in English and Spanish (required). Portuguese is a strong plus. • Strong ownership mindset — feels the weight of outcomes, not just outputs • Comfortable with ambiguity; makes sound decisions with incomplete information • Customer-obsessed: talks to users regularly and lets real behavior shape the roadmap • Commercially oriented: connects mobile product decisions to Clara's growth, retention, and monetization goals
Responsibilities
• Own and execute the mobile product roadmap across iOS and Android — from concept through App Store / Play Store release to post-launch iteration • Define and track mobile-specific KPIs: DAU/MAU, session depth, push notification engagement, uninstall rates, crash rates, retention curves, and app store ratings • Manage the end-to-end release cycle: feature scoping, staged rollouts, force-upgrade strategy, and coordination with backend teams on API versioning and backward compatibility • Collaborate daily with engineering, design, and data teams to translate product strategy into high-quality mobile experiences • Represent the voice of the mobile user — synthesizing qualitative feedback (support tickets, interviews, surveys) with quantitative signals (Amplitude, Firebase, LogRocket) • Champion mobile-native interaction patterns; push back on web-to-mobile translations that degrade the experience • Design mobile experiences optimized for LATAM connectivity realities: low-bandwidth environments, offline-first considerations, and device fragmentation • Partner with marketing on ASO, in-app messaging strategy, and push notification campaigns tied to activation and retention • Lead sprint ceremonies and backlog refinement with a focus on delivery predictability and scope discipline • Use AI tools systematically to accelerate product work: UX hypothesis validation, user feedback synthesis, and lightweight automations
