Responsibilities
• Own and maintain data pipelines that serve the UK business, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and efficiency. • Partner with analysts and data scientists to deliver clean, well-modelled datasets for reporting and experimentation. • Design and build new data pipelines that enable optimisation and personalisation (e.g. user segmentation, recommendation features, lifecycle targeting). • new data pipelines • Collaborate with global engineering and platform teams to align on standards while advocating for UK-specific requirements. • Work with functional teams to provide bespoke solutions for specific use cases, including streaming reporting & analytics, real-time data pipelines, and inference and personalisation services. • Strong proficiency in SQL and modern data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift). • Hands-on experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster) and ETL/ELT pipelines/tools (dbt). • orchestration tools • Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) • cloud platforms • Comfortable with Python for data transformation and pipeline development. • Ability to distil requirements into a clear, bespoke solution that creates sustainable value • Strong communication skills — able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
