Solana Foundation - Trading Engineer

• Build, maintain and improve trading apis that surface realtime and historical price data across Solana venues (perps, AMMs, CLOBs, Props) in formats familiar to traders • Build tools pertaining to transaction execution pipelines and transaction landing (Jito, Harmonic, Direct TPU, etc) • Build and maintain proactive monitoring tools to transaction landing rates, shred delays, rpc errors and trader health • Support infrastructure operations including co-located nodes, data warehouses and analytics for network and venue behavior monitoring • Create technical documentation, guides and research content that demystifies the market structure of Solana for traders coming from centralized exchange venues and traditional finance • Research and prototype improvements to execution quality including FBAs, streaming, shred distribution and more • Desired Background • Desired Background • 5+ years of experience in a technical role involving trading systems, market infrastructure, or protocol engineering • Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles, latency optimization, and execution quality in either crypto or traditional markets • Familiarity with data APIs, real-time feeds and streaming protocols like gRPC and websockets • Built ETL pipelines and realtime data feeds with high levels of accuracy and uptime
