Requirements
• Strong expertise in React or modern frontend frameworks (JavaScript/TypeScript). NextJS experience is a plus • Solid understanding of backend systems and computer science fundamentals: you can work with backend engineers to define contracts and reason about system design • AI pioneer: you've understood that manual code-writing is mostly solved and actively use AI tools to multiply your productivity. If your current company restricts AI usage, you have personal projects that demonstrate your expertise • Senior or Staff level: you don't just ship features, you contribute to architecture, mentor peers, and drive technical decisions • Radical ownership: you own outcomes, move fast, and don't wait for permission • Fluent in English: written and spoken. Our engineering team works in English • Fintech or personal finance experience • Contributions to open-source projects • Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript • Backend (for context): Rust, Ruby, Python • Database: PostgreSQL • Infrastructure: GCP, Terraform • Ops: GitHub, Datadog, Sentry • AI tooling: Claude Code, Cursor, Codex
Responsibilities
• Build and ship delightful features end-to-end on Finary's web platform • Contribute to architecture decisions and technical direction: this isn't just feature work, you'll shape how we build • Collaborate closely with backend engineers to define API contracts and communication patterns • Partner with product managers and designers to turn product vision into polished, high-quality experiences • Leverage AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) to multiply your output: we believe writing code manually is no longer where your value lies • Raise the bar on code quality, developer experience, and engineering practices

• Level 1 (learning the craft): €30-60K • Level 2 (level 1 + autonomy): €60-80K • Level 3 (level 2 + ownership): €70-90K • Level 4 (level 3 + technical leadership): €80-110K • Level 5 (level 4 + shapes company direction): €100-130K • We can go higher for outstanding profiles. This role is open from Level 4 to Level 5 depending on experience. • You'll join an engineering team of ~30, organized in four full-stack squads (Track, Investment, Crypto, Finary One) plus a platform team (SRE, security, data). Your manager will be an Engineering Manager. You'll work daily with backend engineers, product managers, and designers. • Squads are fluid: they exist to solve specific problems and evolve as priorities shift. You'll have stability within a squad but move across them as needed.
