Requirements
• A Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar STEM field or equivalent experience. • 7+ years of software engineering experience. • Deep familiarity with Ads privacy challenges (GDPR, CCPA, ePD, ATT, etc.) and experience delivering high Ads performance in line with privacy needs. • Capable of acting as an individual contributor who can design, implement, test, and launch complex product and infrastructure changes across the entire Ads stack. • Experience coordinating large-scale, cross-functional efforts that span different teams, and driving alignment between diverse stakeholders • Experience leading strategic implementation and planning for risk and growth • Has diverse Ads experience spanning (but not limited to) Optimization, Delivery, Targeting, Ranking, Bidding, Reporting, etc. • A strong understanding of industry trends in the Privacy Enhancing Technology space. • Experience with Go, Python, Scala or Javascript • Understanding of ML development and principles
Responsibilities
• Understand and audit the current state of privacy in Ads, and architect solutions for critical initiatives. • Collaborate to form the long term technical vision and strategy for Ads Privacy for the next 2+ years. • Lead large cross-functional projects end to end, from concept, design, implementation, to rollout, ensuring the highest quality and performance. • Build a privacy platform that all teams in Ads can integrate with to access necessary data in a scalable and auditable fashion. • Collaborate with engineering leaders, data scientists, backend software engineers, fullstack engineers, as well as machine learning engineers. Also work closely with security, legal, and privacy XFN. • Mentor engineers and leaders, share industry knowledge, and contribute to the technical growth of the team. • Stay updated on state-of-the-art products and technologies, recognizing promising innovations, identifying gaps, and adapting them to Reddit's unique platform and community.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below. • The base salary range for this position is: • $217,000 - $303,900 USD • In select roles and locations, the interviews will be recorded, transcribed and summarized by artificial intelligence (AI).
