Requirements
• 7+ years of professional experience building scalable and reliable web applications is required • 5+ years of experience with Python and Python web frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc...) • 5+ years of experience with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, Typescript, and React • Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes • 3+ years of work experience with RDBMS such as MySQL or PostgreSQL • Independent, self-managed, and motivated • Good command of the English language • Experience with any of the following would be a plus: GraphQL, React, FastAPI, AWS (or any other Cloud provider) • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems • Veeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain full stack applications using a variety of programming languages relevant to the role. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects from conception through deployment. • Troubleshoot issues in live systems under production conditions when necessary, ensuring minimal downtime for users. • Write clean, efficient code that adheres to best practices and coding standards established by the team or organization. • Participate in code reviews with peers to maintain high quality of work within the development process. • Stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to full stack engineering roles and integrate these into projects when appropriate. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management, clients, and team members across different departments or teams. • Monitor system performance metrics regularly and optimize code for better efficiency as needed. • Document the development process thoroughly in both written reports and technical documentation to ensure knowledge transfer within the organization.
