Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in software development as part of a team, with meaningful experience in platform engineering, developer experience, or developer tooling, and a growing track record building AI-powered or LLM-driven systems. • Hands-on experience building with LLMs and AI tooling. You've explored and worked in the AI space, whether building LLM-powered developer tools, integrating AI APIs, or experimenting with agents and automation. You understand the practical realities of working with models like Claude in production systems. • A product mindset for internal platforms. You treat developer tooling as a product, with engineers as your customers. You're driven to understand their pain points, measure adoption and impact, and build solutions that stick. • Technical versatility across a polyglot stack. Experience with two or more of Ruby, Python, TypeScript, or Java/Kotlin. You're comfortable writing tooling and automation across different language ecosystems. • Experience building governance, policy, or guardrail systems. You've thought carefully about how to build systems that enforce standards at scale without getting in developers' way. • Data-informed decision-making. You use metrics to identify opportunities, measure impact, and prioritize. You're comfortable establishing baselines, setting targets, and tracking progress toward goals. • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills. You build trust with partner teams, communicate clearly about progress and trade-offs, and know how to drive alignment across an organization.
