oneapp - Software Engineer, Banking

• 7+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack software engineering, including technical leadership of projects or teams • Proven success designing, building, and scaling production-grade APIs and distributed systems, ideally in banking, payments, or other regulated financial services • Experience with sensitive financial data and money movement systems, such as ledgers, account management, ACH, or card processing • Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript or similar modern backend frameworks, and familiarity with microservices, Kubernetes, and AWS • Experience with mobile or user-facing applications, ideally React Native, is a plus • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of mentoring engineers and driving technical decisions across teams • Drive and proactivity - everyone here is a builder and executor • We use Typescript front to back, with node and NestJS frameworks for server code and React Native for our iOS, Android, and Web clients.
