Requirements

Responsibilities

• As a Senior Software Engineer at Airwallex, you will join the Productivity team on a mission to make AI agents first-class participants in the software development lifecycle. You will build and operate the platforms that power autonomous software delivery — from AirDev, which runs AI agents that ship production code end-to-end, to AirForge, which lets anyone create web applications from natural language. You will operate with high ownership, taking features from design to production in a fast-paced environment where the tools you build directly multiply the output of hundreds of engineers. • AirDev • AirForge • Build AI Agent Infrastructure: Develop and extend AirDev, the platform where AI agents autonomously execute software development tasks — managing stories, orchestrating agent lifecycles, and integrating with GitLab, Jira, Confluence, and Slack. • Build AI Agent Infrastructure: • AI-Powered Application Factory: Contribute to AirForge, a containerized desktop application that uses Claude Code to generate, preview, and publish web applications — including its Electron shell, Express backend, React UI, and Docker-based sandbox runtime. • AI-Powered Application Factory: • Agent Governance & Workflow Orchestration: Help build Quartermaster and CREW (Customized Resilient Enterprise Workflow), the systems that provision, coordinate, and govern autonomous agent workflows across the organization. • Agent Governance & Workflow Orchestration: • Event-Driven Integration: Design and maintain Kafka-based event pipelines, webhook handlers, and API integrations that connect AI agents to enterprise systems and enable closed-loop automation. • Event-Driven Integration: • Operational Excellence: Own the reliability of production agent infrastructure — monitoring, alerting, incident response, and continuous improvement of platform services running on Kubernetes. • Operational Excellence:
