Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as a full-stack developer, preferably in the financial industry or proprietary trading. • Strong proficiency in Python for data processing, backend logic, and model integration. • Solid DevOps experience: Docker, CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), Linux administration, and monitoring/logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana). Experience with Kubernetes or infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) is a plus. • Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and agentic development workflows, and a practical understanding of how to apply them effectively and safely. • Experience integrating LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic) into applications, including prompt design, tool/function calling, and evaluation. • Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue). • Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL stores (e.g. Redis). • Understanding of data structures, APIs, and real-time data processing. • Familiarity with real-time data visualization. • Exposure to quantitative models or working with quants is a plus. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• 24/5 live PnL tracking • VaR and other exposure calculations • Web-based risk dashboards • Interactive analytical tools • Alerting and monitoring systems • Own deployment, CI/CD, and infrastructure for risk applications: containerization, pipeline automation, environment management, observability, and incident response. • Improve system reliability, performance, and availability, with a focus on low latency and stability during market hours. • Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and debugging. • Develop and enhance applications that integrate LLM APIs for automation, analysis, and workflow improvements. • Build responsive front-end interfaces for visualizing and interacting with risk metrics. • Collaborate with the risk team to understand requirements and implement risk models. • Write clean, well-documented, and tested code; participate in code reviews and design discussions.
