Requirements
• Experience building APIs and distributed systems, with strong understanding of integration patterns • Proficiency in C#, .NET, Java, or similar backend technologies • Solid system design fundamentals (scalability, fault tolerance, messaging, reliability) • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar) • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and automated testing • Experience with microservices architecture • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus) • Experience building or supporting external-facing APIs or SaaS platforms • Location: This role is primarily remote (U.S.-based), with the expectation of occasional visits to our offices for team collaboration, training, or company events. • This role may be based remotely out of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
• API & SYSTEM DESIGN • Design and build scalable APIs and integration workflows that power partner-facing products • Develop secure, reliable distributed systems with a focus on performance and resilience • PLATFORM & INFRASTRUCTURE • Contribute to our MuleSoft-based API platform and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker) • Improve system scalability, observability, and fault tolerance across services • ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE • Enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows to increase speed and reliability • Write clean, testable code and contribute to best practices in system design and architecture • COLLABORATION & IMPACT • Partner with product, engineering, and external teams to deliver high-impact integrations • Support partner onboarding through stable, well-documented APIs and developer-friendly experiences
