Requirements
• CPA (Local CA, US CPA, ACCA, or equivalent). • 10–15 years of progressive finance and controllership experience. • Hands-on SOX experience spanning design, documentation, and execution. • Mandarin language proficiency, both written and verbal. • Strong technical accounting expertise across IFRS and US GAAP. • Experience with statutory reporting, audit management, and multi-entity consolidation. • Experience in technology, hardware, semiconductors, or FMCG environments. • Manufacturing cost accounting exposure. • A track record of building and developing finance teams and processes from scratch. • US MNC experience as a controller or senior finance leader within a US-headquartered multinational.
Responsibilities
• Own group consolidation, monthly close, and management reporting across all entities. • Lead SOX program design, documentation, and execution for US listing readiness. • Own statutory reporting under SFRS, IFRS, and US GAAP, and manage technical accounting positions. • Manage external auditor relationships and lead the audit cycle. • Oversee Singapore statutory filings with IRAS and ACRA, as well as local tax compliance. • Manage and develop in-country controllers across APAC, starting with Thailand. • Partner with supply chain and manufacturing leaders on cost accounting, inventory controls, and standard costing. • Oversee intercompany accounting and transfer pricing.
