Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the social media strategy for Moonpig's brand presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn. This includes creating content calendars, scheduling posts, engaging with followers, monitoring online conversations about our brands/products, analyzing performance data to inform future strategies and making necessary adjustments based on analytics insights.
  • Develop and execute a display advertising strategy that aligns with Moonpig's marketing objectives across various digital channels such as Google AdWords, Facebook ads etc., including setting budgets, creating compelling creatives, targeting the right audience segments, optimizing campaign performance based on data insights.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments (e.g., Marketing and Sales) to ensure consistent messaging across all channels while maintaining a unique brand voice that resonates with our customers' needs and preferences. This includes coordinating cross-departmental events, campaigns or promotions where applicable.
  • Monitor industry trends in social media marketing & display advertising; stay updated on new tools/technologies to enhance Moonpig’s digital presence while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding data privacy (GDPR, etc.).
  • Develop partnerships or collaborations with influencers who align closely with our brand values & target audience. This includes identifying potential candidates through research/networking; negotiating terms of collaboration including content creation guidelines, deliverables timeline and compensation structure if applicable.
  • Oversee the production process for all Moonpig's digital assets (graphics, videos etc.) used in social media posts or display adverts to ensure they meet brand standards & are optimized for each specific platform/channel being utilized. This includes working with designers and other creatives on content creation while ensuring timely delivery of materials needed by the marketing team.
  • Manage Moonpig's paid social media campaigns, including setting goals, target audience selection, budget allocation across different platforms & ad formats; monitoring performance metrics such as reach, engagement rate, click-through rates and conversions to optimize for better results in future iterations of each campaign while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws/regulations.
  • Develop a comprehensive content calendar that aligns Moonpig's social media activities across various platforms (e.g., Facebook Live events on Mondays, Instagram stories featuring new products every Wednesday etc.) to ensure consistent brand messaging while keeping our audience engaged and informed about the latest news/offers from Moonpig.
  • Analyze competitor strategies in social media marketing & display advertising; identify opportunities for differentiation or improvement within these areas that can give us a competitive edge over other similar businesses
