CaptivateIQ - Software Engineer

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated growth in scope and complexity • Strong proficiency in Python with experience building production backend services (Django experience preferred) • Solid frontend development skills with React and TypeScript • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) and understanding of prompt engineering fundamentals • Experience building LLM-powered workflows, including agent orchestration, tool calling, or multi-step reasoning systems • Experience working with ambiguous requirements and independently identifying solutions • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment • Track record of delivering projects on time with high quality • Demonstrated curiosity and continuous learning in the rapidly evolving AI/LLM space • Experience with MCP servers, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma), or embedding models • Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent) • Experience building internal developer platforms, SDKs, or shared infrastructure • Contributions to AI/ML open-source projects • Experience at a B2B SaaS company, particularly in enterprise software • Familiarity with sales, commissions, or financial software domains • Notice to Prospective Candidates: • Only emails from @captivateiq.com should be trusted We are aware of active recruitment scams using the CaptivateIQ name, in which individuals pose as our recruiters and post fake remote job openings and make fake job offers on the Internet.
