Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack web applications. Backend in any language (such as Ruby, Node.js, Python, or similar), frontend in React preferably, and TypeScript • Deep experience building complex SPA web applications and API backends • Writing code that balances speed, reliability, and quality • Ideally, you have previous startup experience • This is a fully remote opportunity. We prefer applicants in North and South America, with a further preference for areas where our current employees are: San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo.
Responsibilities
• Developing software solutions within Goody's engineering team to meet business needs. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management and designers for feature development. • Writing clean, maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and company coding standards. • Participating in code reviews and pair programming sessions as needed. • Testing software applications using various testing methodologies to ensure quality and reliability. • Troubleshooting issues related to Goody's products or services when necessary, often working closely with customer service teams. • Staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements relevant to their work within engineering at Goody.
