Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience. • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent academic or professional experience. • Product development experience using desktop, mobile, or web UI frameworks. • Familiarity with Linux software development and toolchains. • English communication skills sufficient for technical discussions and collaboration. • Product development experience using React, Babylon.js, or WebGL. • Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript. • Knowledge of asynchronous programming and threading. • Familiarity with localization and translation pipelines. • Build software that directly supports real-world warehouse operations. You will see your work used by operators and contribute to interfaces that make complex automation easier to understand and manage. • Our team works collaboratively, reviews ideas openly, and encourages continuous learning. You will have opportunities to take ownership from design through deployment, solve challenging technical problems, and work across frontend and backend systems alongside engineers with deep expertise in industrial automation. • Interview Process: • Coding Assessment: Initial technical evaluation. • HR Interview: Discussion with Human Resources. • Technical Interview: One or two rounds with the frontend team's manager. • Final Interview: Cultural fit interview with hiring manager. • 3-8-5 Tatsumi, Koto-Ku, Tokyo 135-0053, Japan • 8:45 - 17:45 (with a 60-minute break)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for WES and fleet management applications across web and industrial Android devices. • Build reusable, high-performance UI components that support real-time operational data and long-running warehouse workflows. • Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate operational requirements into intuitive, accessible user experiences. • Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and collaborate with backend engineers to deliver end-to-end features. • Improve application stability, responsiveness, and maintainability through profiling, debugging, and refactoring. • Develop and improve testing, localization, build, and release pipelines. • Investigate and resolve production issues in collaboration with engineering and operations teams. • Participate in code reviews and share knowledge across the team. • Occasionally travel to customer sites in Japan and abroad to understand operational needs and support deployment.
