Requirements
• Detail-Obsessed: You have an eagle eye for precision. You notice the small inconsistencies that others miss, whether in UI alignment or data structures. • Logical Thinker: You enjoy the challenge of taking non-standardized information and creating a clean, logical strategy to standardize it within a system. • Problem Solver: You are resourceful and can find smart technical workarounds when faced with complex or non-standard requirements. • Ownership Mindset: You are happy to roll up your sleeves to handle both high-level feature work and the critical "last-mile" technical details that make a product successful. • 1-2 years of software engineering experience focusing on modern frontend frameworks (React preferred). • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript. • Experience managing complex application state and data flows. • Familiarity with modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind, etc.) and responsive design. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote startup environment. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members. • LLM Proficiency: Hands-on experience with prompt engineering to refine and validate structured AI outputs. • Large-Scale Systems: Experience contributing to and navigating large, distributed frontend architectures. • Performance Optimization: Proven ability to improve speed and efficiency in data-intensive applications. • Scaling Expertise: Familiarity with scaling frontend operations, including automated testing and modular component design. • Internal Tooling: A track record of building admin dashboards or automation scripts to simplify manual engineering tasks.
Responsibilities
• Designing user interfaces that provide a seamless experience across different devices and screen sizes. • Implementing responsive design principles to ensure the frontend works well on mobile phones, tablets, laptops, etc. • Developing single page applications (SPAs) using frameworks like React or Angular for efficient loading times and performance optimization. • Collaborating with backend teams to understand data structures and APIs required by web services/apps. • Ensuring accessibility standards are met in all frontend designs so that the application is usable by people of various abilities, ages, and situations. • Testing user interfaces across different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) for compatibility issues using tools like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs. • Debugging JavaScript code to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize frontend rendering times. • Maintaining a clean project repository with proper documentation of the source files and their functionalities. • Participating in regular stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, or other team activities as required by Agile methodologies like Scrum to ensure smooth workflows within cross-functional teams.
