Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience • Backend Expertise: Proven track record of building end-to-end high-scale product experiences as a full-stack engineer. Experience with Python on backend, and/or Postgres databases is a plus. • Web development experience with React, using GraphQL for API development, and modern frontend applications (exposure to Next.js framework is not required but preferred) • Excellent product instincts—you first think about users rather than the best technical solution • You can mentor others, and prioritize building inclusive, supportive teams • Project owner—you’ve strong ownership instincts and can own projects from inception to production and beyond • You are known for shipping products and features lightning-fast • You’re an excellent problem solver and can operate autonomously • Ability to pick up on new technologies very quickly • Proven track record of delivering features
Responsibilities
• Develop full stack applications using a variety of programming languages relevant to this role. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle. • Implement robust security measures in application code to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access or breaches. • Optimize applications for performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions that improve speed without compromising functionality. • Maintain, test, deploy updates, and troubleshoot issues with existing systems as needed. • Stay current on emerging technologies in the full stack domain to continuously enhance skills and contribute innovative ideas for projects.
