Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain backend systems for aviation software applications to ensure robustness, scalability, and security compliance with industry standards. • Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional code within the agreed timelines. • Implement efficient database management strategies for optimal data retrieval and storage performance in aviation systems applications. • Monitor system health using automated tools or manual checks; troubleshoot issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime with a focus on maintaining high availability standards as per industry requirements. • Continuously improve code quality by adhering to best practices and coding conventions through peer reviews and refactorings where necessary. • Stay updated with the latest backend development technologies relevant to aviation systems, including cloud services, microservices architecture, or any emerging trends that could benefit project delivery. • Participate in code repository management by committing changes regularly, documenting updates clearly for team transparency and accountability. • Provide technical leadership within the development team; mentor junior developers on backend best practices while fostering a collaborative work environment conducive to knowledge sharing and professional growth.
