Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using PHP/Symfony framework to ensure robustness, scalability, and security of web applications. • Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members in the software development lifecycle by providing technical guidance on architecture decisions and best practices for code quality. • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP/Symfony code that adheres to coding standards and is maintainable over time. • Troubleshoot issues related to backend systems using debugging tools and techniques when necessary. • Test the functionality of developed features through automated testing frameworks like PHPUnit or Behat for Symfony applications, ensuring high quality software delivery. • Monitor server performance metrics and optimize code/infrastructure as needed to maintain system efficiency under varying loads. • Implement security measures within backend systems such as input validation, parameterized queries, secure session management, and encryption of sensitive data where applicable. • Stay updated with the latest PHP/Symfony framework updates, best practices in software development, and emerging technologies relevant to web application backends.
