Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in product, software, or data, including time leading teams and owning software or platforms used across an organization. • A track record of building and growing high-performing teams, hiring well, and setting a high technical and product bar. • Strong technical fluency, with the ability to go deep with engineers on data models, integrations, and system constraints, and comfort working with data directly. • Demonstrated ability to set strategy and prioritize across many stakeholders with competing needs, and to communicate the reasoning clearly to both engineers and executives. • A player-coach mindset, leading through a team while staying close enough to the work to make sound calls yourself. • Experience defining and being accountable for the impact of the software your team delivers. • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, aerospace, defense, or other hardware and physical-operations domains. • Experience building AI-powered products or leading teams that do. • Experience with data platforms and integration tooling. • Experience in regulated environments such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). • Enough structured query language (SQL) and data literacy to answer your own questions from a data warehouse. • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary to accomplish our mission. • Must work 100% onsite at El Segundo headquarters. • This position requires the ability to work in the United States and eligibility for access to export-controlled information under ITAR and EAR.
Responsibilities
• Set the vision and strategy for Enterprise Data. Own the direction of the platform and the data behind it, decide what the team builds and why, and make the build-versus-buy calls that shape how Radiant runs. • Build and grow a nimble, elite team of specialists. Hire exceptional engineers and product people, set a high bar for the work, and develop the people who will carry the mission as the company scales. • Own the Enterprise Data roadmap end to end. Translate the needs of the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Quality, and People teams into a single prioritized plan, make the hard tradeoffs across a platform that serves the entire company, and keep the organization aligned on what is coming and why. • Stay close to the real problems by working alongside the teams you support across Radiant, understanding how their work actually flows, and making sure the team solves what will genuinely make their jobs easier. • Be accountable for outcomes, not just delivery. Define what success looks like for the tools the team builds, whether measured in time saved, errors prevented, or faster decisions, and make sure the work changes how people operate. • Guide where artificial intelligence (AI) adds real value. Decide where AI and automation genuinely improve how the company works, and set the direction for the workflows that keep a person in the loop. • Represent Enterprise Data across the company. Keep leadership close to the work, partner with the Software Engineering team on shared infrastructure, and keep the team's priorities tied to what matters most for Radiant.

As the Technical Lead (Director), you'll set the technical direction for the team—architecting the data platform, owning the AI strategy, and ensuring we make the right build-vs-buy decisions. • This is a player-coach role. You'll lead technical direction and mentor engineers, but you'll also go hands-on when needed.
