Kin Insurance - Software Engineer, Front-End Focus

• Track record of shipping small to medium-sized software projects in a production environment • Experience building applications with Javascript/Typescript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS • Experience with modern SPA frameworks, including Angular 2+, API integrations, and state management patterns such as NgRx or Redux • Experience building or composing reusable Web Components and component libraries • Familiarity with BEM methodology and Object-Oriented CSS principles • Experience working with APIs; Ruby on Rails experience is a plus • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with strong ownership and collaboration skills • Comfortable mentoring teammates and contributing to technical direction and architectural discussions • Ability to work within Central or Eastern time zones strongly preferred • We believe a great hiring experience should be clear, respectful, and human.
