Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis and data management within the Fintech industry gained in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience working with fraud, funding, finance and customer support teams to analyze and optimize operational performance across the business systems
- This role requires expert SQL skills and hands-on experience in Python
- Hands-on experience using dbt (data build tool) to model and organize data for reporting and decision-making
- Experience setting up and managing data pipelines, with a strong understanding of data workflow orchestration
- Capable of creating intuitive dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex insights clearly
- Strong communicator who can simplify complex data ideas for both technical and non-technical audiences
- You believe wholeheartedly in the values outlined in Kraken’s Tentaclements document
- A degree in a field emphasizing analytical rigor, such as analytics, software engineering or economics.
- Based in Canada and the US and fluent in English.

Responsibilities
- Elevate decision-making by uncovering emerging trends and root causes.
- Drive insights and actions that provide full visibility into business performance and operational efficiency.
- Own end-to-end data management from building and maintaining datasets and pipelines to designing dashboards and delivering insights for the Core Services team.
- Contribute to experimentation infrastructure and ML initiatives, including launching and evaluating A/B experiments.
