Requirements
• Deep expertise in building and scaling distributed systems, high-throughput APIs, and data-intensive services • Strong full-stack skills, with fluency in backend architecture and modern frontend frameworks • Experience designing systems with reliability, security, and performance in mind — ideally in payments, lending, or other regulated consumer finance domains • Exceptional technical leadership and communication skills with a track record of influencing architecture and product direction • Drive and proactivity – everyone here is a builder and executor • We use Node and TypeScript on the server, leveraging the NestJS framework within a microservice-oriented architecture running on Kubernetes and AWS. On the client side, we build and ship product features for iOS, Android, and web platforms using React Native. While you don’t need experience with our exact stack, familiarity with modern software engineering practices will help you ramp up quickly.
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and delivery of high-impact, technically complex projects that power our lending platform at scale • Provide technical leadership and clear, impactful communication to cross-functional stakeholders • Drive hyper-optimization of lending systems to meet the needs of a large and growing addressable market • Collaborate closely with product, design, and operations partners to build seamless, trustworthy lending experiences • Mentor engineers across the team, fostering best practices in architecture, code quality, and scalability
