Responsibilities
• Review fraud signals regularly, adding, removing and refining them to distinguish suspicious activity from legitimate users. Signals under consideration include IP spoofing, VPN use and unusual play patterns. • Own the fraud-related segments of the user segmentation system, from deciding how signals should be interpreted to monitoring how well the categories work over time. • Work with the product team on fraud verification tools for different markets. The team currently uses FaceTec for facial verification and may need other methods, such as ID scanning or phone verification, in other countries. • Investigate users flagged for manual review, including ambiguous cases in the Tremendous queue, and look for ways to improve the review process. • Identify gaps in the available signals and recommend third-party tools for the product roadmap where they would help.
