We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table! • 10+ years in software engineering or solution architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing technical teams. • Technical Expertise: Strong technical background with experience in software development, data platforms, and cloud technologies. Familiarity with Twilio Segment’s technology stack is a plus. • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and execute technical strategies that align with business objectives. Experience in pre-sales and post-sales environments is highly desirable. • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive-level stakeholders. • Customer Focus: A strong customer advocate with a track record of driving customer success and satisfaction through technical leadership and innovation. • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and grow high-performing technical teams in a fast-paced environment. • Desired: • Experience leading Solution Engineering or Product Specialist teams within a CPaaS, UCaaS or Customer Data Platform company. • Location • This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, OR, PA, RI, TX, VA, WA, or Washington DC. • Travel • We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 20% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.
Responsibilities
• Leadership and Team Development: Lead, mentor, and scale the North American Solution Engineering team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centric problem solving. • Strategic Engagement: Work closely with sales leadership to develop and execute strategies that drive customer acquisition, expansion, and retention. Ensure the Solution Engineering team is aligned with sales goals and objectives. • Solution Design and Implementation: Oversee the technical aspects of customer engagements, including solution design, implementation strategies, and technical validation. Ensure solutions meet customer needs and align with Twilio Segment’s capabilities. • Customer Advocacy: Serve as a senior technical advisor and advocate for customers within Twilio Segment. Understand customer needs and market trends to influence product development and roadmap. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience and to drive product enhancements. • Technical Excellence: Maintain deep technical and product knowledge of the Twilio Segment platform and the broader technology landscape. Encourage continuous learning and development within the team.

The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only. • The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows: • Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Minnesota or Vermont : $206,784.00 - $258,480.00. • Based in Washington D.C., Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay Area): $218,272.00 - $272,840.00. • Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or the San Francisco Bay area, California: $229,760.00 - $287,200.00. • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave. • This role is eligible to earn commissions. • The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. • Applications for this role are intended to be accepted until May 01, 2026, but may change based on business needs. • Twilio thinks big.
