Requirements
• Experience managing a full-stack engineering team • Experience building API-driven backends, efficient and responsive front-ends, and leveraging SaaS solutions • Experience with Kubernetes and service-oriented architecture is preferred • Deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns • Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time in partnership with business stakeholders • Demonstrated ability to evolve a platform while continuously delivering business value and adhering to SLAs • Experience managing data and application security requirements (including solid SQL or PostgreSQL/relational DB experience) • Typically has 8 or more years of experience in Agile software development • Typically has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or additional relevant experience
Responsibilities
• Provide hands on management to your team and maintain a high bar of technical excellence through code reviews, goal setting and 1 on 1 feedback • Own the overall quality of the services in your area of ownership through effective prioritization and management of the technical backlog • Partner closely with product managers and stakeholders on scope, sizing and prioritization to maximize the on-time delivery of business value • Orchestrate cross-team planning for complex, multi-scrum team features • Maintain active engagement from your team and encourage a culture of creative problem solving as well as a bias towards action • Boost engineering productivity through ownership of the SDLC, coding standards, and best practices • Act as a technical and cultural leader for the engineering team
Benefits
