Requirements

Responsibilities
• Lead the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable applications for payment experiences and APIs that power seamless fiat and crypto transactions across Kraken’s ecosystem. • Drive cross-functional team collaboration between backend engineers building payments API experiences and frontend teams to define and deliver features with measurable business and customer value. • Partner closely with Product Managers and Designers for feature definition, ensuring alignment of goals across engineering and product/design disciplines. • Maintain consistency in engineering standards and architecture by collaborating with other Engineering Managers and Tech Leads within the company. • Champion technical excellence, maintainable systems, code quality, and foster a culture of growth, ownership, and collaboration among engineers under their leadership. • Strengthen team organization and delivery through agile processes, project tracking, metrics (e.g., DORA, cycle time), ensuring efficient workflows within the engineering teams they manage.
