AlphaSense - Senior/Staff Design Engineer

• Create high-fidelity, coded prototypes and interaction models that bring complex, AI-powered workflows to life and clearly communicate product direction. • Own high-impact initiatives from concept through production, shipping experiences that reflect strong design thinking, technical rigor, and a deep understanding of customer workflows. • Lead technical design discussions, make architectural decisions, and guide cross-team implementation efforts. • Advance AlphaSense’s design system as a core piece of product infrastructure—defining scalable patterns, enabling consistency, and accelerating teams building across AI-native experiences. • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to research and evaluate user requirements, translate them into effective designs, and ensure that the final product meets both user and business needs. • Collaborate with engineering teams during development, advocating for design quality and user experience by championing design fidelity and attention to detail throughout the development lifecycle. • Drive cross-functional alignment by helping teams navigate tradeoffs between technical constraints, business goals, and user experience to deliver high-quality outcomes. • AI-First Execution • Partner with product and engineering teams to shape how intelligent capabilities are integrated into real user workflows, ensuring outputs are transparent, trustworthy, and usable. • AlphaSense is an equal-opportunity employer.
