Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend infrastructure, APIs, and services at scale. • Own the architecture and implementation of distributed systems behind high-volume, low-latency APIs. • Solve hard scalability, latency, and performance problems in live production systems. • Lead system design discussions and shape the direction of our backend architecture. • Set the best practices for backend development—throughput, reliability, and latency. • Validate performance through automated testing, benchmarking, and production-driven improvements. • Trace production issues across services and the full stack, and ship fixes that durably improve reliability.
