Requirements
• BA/BS in related field • 7+ years of experience in-house or advising, preferably for the technology industry or compensation consulting firm • Experience with job evaluation, market matching, job pricing, compensation review cycles, and global compensation practices • Demonstrated adaptability and experience in a fast-paced environment • Solid eye for business and the ability to influence and develop strong working relationships with multiple partners, including executives, line management, and peers. • Experience in a client-facing role working and supporting Corporate Groups or EPD teams • Strong change management and project management skills • Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear outputs and recommendations to inform decision-making. • Advanced Excel skills (interview process may include an Excel test). We’ll love it if you know Tableau, SQL, or have used AI for compensation analytics though not a requirement. • Experience using data visualization tools, such as Tableau, to communicate compensation insights and trends to business and HR stakeholders. • Working knowledge of SQL, Databricks, or similar tools to analyze large or complex compensation datasets. • Experience using AI tools for compensation analytics and reporting. • AI fluency means using these tools to amplify human judgment, not replace it. Responsibilities
• Drive Dropbox’s compensation philosophy, design and programs for your client teams. • Build a consultative and collaborative relationship with HR business partners, business leaders, and executive leadership on compensation programs evolution and compensation initiatives. • Act as a trusted advisor on compensation decisions. Support decisions with sound judgement and data-backed recommendations. • Proactively research compensation best practices and trends. Perform analysis on effectiveness, competitiveness and fairness of existing programs. Present findings and thoughtful alternative solutions that are aligned with Dropbox’s philosophy. • Contribute to the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide compensation programs and processes, including job architecture, market benchmarking, compensation review cycles, and global compensation practices. • Design and implement programs with an understanding of fulfilling business need and impact on global employee base. • Build and deliver compensation-related training and education materials to your client teams. • Work with the Recruiting team to deliver a delightful new hire process by applying Dropbox compensation policies in fair and equitable ways. This includes new hire offer package consultation to ensure alignment to market and internal peers.

Please refer to our Compensation section below to see what neighborhoods fall under each Zone. • This role is not available in Zone 1 • $150,400—$203,400 USD • $133,600—$180,800 USD • The range(s) listed above is the expected annual salary/OTE (On-Target Earnings) for this role, subject to change. Please note, OTE are for sales roles only.Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation. We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range.Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use.
