Requirements

• We're looking for a rigorous risk professional with a track record in regulated financial services, and deep familiarity with the Cypriot and EU regulatory landscape. • Proven experience in risk management within a regulated financial institution — ideally covering both crypto/digital-asset (CASP) and e-money or payments activities • Strong working knowledge of the MiCA, PSD2, EMD2 and related national law • Solid understanding of the full risk taxonomy across fintech business: operational, credit, liquidity, market, conduct, technology/ICT (DORA), and financial-crime (AML/CFT) risk • Experience designing and maintaining risk management frameworks, risk appetite statements, capital and liquidity assessments, and risk registers • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls, policies, and monitoring across digital-asset custody, settlement, and safeguarding of client funds • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quantify exposures and present risk clearly to Boards, regulators, and non-specialist stakeholders • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, and globally distributed organisations, balancing control with commercial pace • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with compliance, finance, product, engineering, and operations teams
