• Lead, hire, and develop a team of senior engineers, providing thoughtful feedback and building a trusting and supportive environment.
• Own the team’s technical strategy and roadmap, translating Mercury’s investment ambitions into focused priorities and predictable delivery.
• Guide the design and evolution of core custody systems, including cash and securities ledgers, security master service, position tracking, and reconciliation.
• Partner with product, investment operations, and compliance to turn business and regulatory requirements into well-designed systems, operational controls, and auditable workflows that balance correctness, scale, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product and Partnerships to align integrations, responsibilities, and technical roadmaps.
• Set a high bar for correctness, reliability, and incident response, balancing new capabilities with the maintenance and improvement of critical systems.
