Requirements
• DESIRED BACKGROUND • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent training in software development • 1–2 years of experience with Java, Node.js, TypeScript, and React, including the ability to navigate and modify a large-scale codebase • Experience working with Unix environments and Bash • Strong understanding of server-side systems, distributed architectures, APIs, and database interactions • Hands-on experience with debugging tools, log analysis, performance profiling, and root-cause investigation • Familiarity with endpoint security concepts, network security fundamentals, and enterprise IT environments • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control using Git, and Agile development practices • DESIRED PERSONAL QUALITIES • Strong written and spoken English communication skills • Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical, analytical approach to investigating complex technical issues • Ability to explain technical details clearly to customers and internal teams • A customer-focused mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and urgency when resolving issues affecting production environments • Ability to move effectively between quick bug fixes and longer, in-depth technical investigations • A collaborative approach to working with Support, QA, Product, and Engineering teams, while maintaining professionalism under pressure
Responsibilities
• Own the technical investigation and resolution of complex production challenges in large-scale backend environments • Modify and enhance large-scale codebase features across Java, Node.js, TypeScript, and React architectures • Direct enterprise issue resolution by translating real-world customer findings into long-term product and system fixes • Optimize API interactions, data processing routines, and server-side performance across distributed architectures • Collaborate with global Support, QA, Product, and Engineering teams to refine the endpoint security product roadmap • Utilize advanced debugging, log analysis, and profiling tools to execute root-cause investigations under tight operational constraints
