Requirements
• At least 4+ years of professional experience in object-oriented languages. • Significant experience with NodeJS. • Knowledge of modern web application building libraries like Angular. • Working knowledge of developing scalable distributed cloud applications on AWS or other similar platforms. • Strong skills in MySQL and relational databases. • Clear communication and articulation skills. • Experience with the MEAN/MERN stack is best, but not required (preferred). • Experience with fintech industry preferred, especially if worked in an early stage or growing start-up. • Majority experience should be from product-based companies rather than consulting firms. • Awareness of modern trends in distributed software application development is desirable. • Familiarity with various development tools including AWS Codebuild, git, npm, Visual Studio Code, Serverless framework, Swagger Specs, Angular, Flutter, AWS Lambda, MongoDB, Redis, SQS, and Kafka preferred but not required (preferred).
Responsibilities
• Engaging in active development assignments • Designing and implementing RESTful APIs • Collaborating with a team to develop and test highly scalable web applications and services • Contributing to the overall system architecture • Prototyping and implementing new ideas
