Rain - Licensing Associate

• 5-10 years of experience in financial services licensing, regulatory compliance, fintech, payments, banking, or digital assets. • Familiarity with regulatory regimes such as money transmission, e-money, VASP/virtual asset licensing, or similar frameworks. • Strong project management and organizational skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent regulatory workstreams. • Experience working at a fintech, crypto, stablecoin, payments, or banking institution. • Exposure to global licensing regimes (U.S. state MTLs, EU EMI/PI licenses, MAS, FCA, VARA, etc.). • Experience coordinating with regulators or external counsel. • Understanding of AML/CFT, sanctions compliance, and risk frameworks. • Legal or compliance background (JD not required). • Things that enable a fulfilling, healthy, and happy experience at Rain: • Unlimited time off 🌴 Unlimited vacation can be daunting, so we require Rainmakers to take at least 10 days off. • Flexible working ☕ We support a flexible workplace.
