Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 7+ PQE, with experience in a law firm or in-house legal environment • Must have prior experience managing a team, with a track record of developing talent and driving performance • Deep familiarity with legal technology and AI tools, with an ability to quickly develop and demonstrate platform expertise • Strong commercial instincts and the ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders at law firms and in-house legal teams • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience running training, workshops, or client-facing product sessions • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach • DEPENDING ON YOUR LOCATION, AN APPLICANT PRIVACY NOTICE MAY APPLY TO YOU. Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Legal Engineers, setting clear performance expectations and building a high-trust, high-output team culture • Own the quality and consistency of Harvey's pre-sales legal engineering function, ensuring demos, discovery conversations, and deal support are delivered to the highest standard • Partner closely with Account Executives and GTM leadership to prioritise pipeline, develop deal strategy, and support conversion on complex or strategic opportunities • Engage with lawyers at prospective customers to understand and address their workflow challenges • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to ensure the team's field insights are feeding into positioning, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy • Lead product demonstrations tailored to the context of various law firm practice groups and in-house legal teams, asking questions to validate how Harvey can add value and then showcasing Harvey’s features and benefits relevant to each prospective client’s potential use cases. • Act as the “Voice of the Customer,” using your legal perspective to help the broader sales team to develop and implement more effective strategies and synthesize customer feedback for the product team through a legal lens. • Travel may be required from time to time, including visits to customer office locations and company offices.
