Requirements

• Ability to realign client expectations when challenges arise (delays, change in scope, etc.) • Proactively, and independently able to research knowledge needed to perform tasks (i.e., knows when to ask for help, and doesn't spend significant time on already-solved issues) • You have the ability to identify potential technical solutions that apply to an internal/client situation (i.e., ability to connect technical solutions to a business need). • You enjoy working with peers / new hires to help them understand and apply best practices • You can prioritize multiple tasks and communicate the overall status of a project. • You enjoy participating in technical design of systems, schemas, or pipelines and offer sound guidance • 3+ years of experience in core programming fundamentals, modern tools (IDEs, CLI, Git/version control), and basic debugging: • Scripting languages like Python, Ruby • Compiled languages like Java, Scala, C++ • Source Control Systems • 2+ years of experience in Data Management Tools: • Pipeline management tools like Airflow or Luigi, and/or enterprise ETL tools like Informatica, SSIS or Datastage • Devops tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker • Database Management Systems like BigQuery, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, mySQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Redshift • 2+ years of discovery and assessment of a client’s portfolio, tools, and applications • 2+ years of professional software and consulting experience • Experience working in cloud environments (AWS or GCP) is a plus. • Experience with Unix-based OSes a plus!
