Airwallex - Software Engineer, Ecosystem

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. • 2+ years of experience developing internet applications, large financial systems or e-commerce platforms. • Strong programming or scripting skills in a language such as Java, Kotlin, C++, Python or a similar language. • Direct experience building or maintaining a public-facing developer platform, app marketplace or extension framework. • Experience designing and building APIs and integrations with external financial institutions or third-party platforms. • Experience developing scalable, reliable systems and working effectively with cross-functional teams. • Deep expertise in Domain-Driven Design and applying it to complex business logic and microservice boundaries. • Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and advanced observability tools. • Experience integrating AI or large language models to automate integration workflows or improve developer tooling. • YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF • You're comfortable owning the roadmap yourself. • You own the outcome and you don't wait for permission to fix what's broken. • You're comfortable with ambiguity.
