Requirements
• Degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field. • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience. • Within total work experience, 3+ years of sales, business development, or field applications, with a focus on cell biology. • Strong understanding of drug discovery workflows and the role of cell biology in target discovery and validation. • Familiarity with single-cell analysis, genomics, or high-dimensional biology platforms. • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals and managing long sales cycles. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both scientists and business leaders. • Highly self-motivated with strong strategic thinking and territory/account management skills. • Willingness to travel within assigned region. • Valid passport and driver’s license. • Advanced degree in Cell Biology • Experience selling capital equipment or high-value research platforms into pharma accounts. • Established network within pharmaceutical R&D organizations. • Ability to translate scientific capabilities into business and research impact. • We provide competitive total compensation packages, including base pay, benefits, and equity. In California, the estimated base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000/year. Additionally, this role will be enrolled in a commission plan.
