Requirements
• 5+ years designing complex enterprise B2B software (simplified, welcoming UX for powerful capabilities) • Strong builder UX craft (workflow/automation builders, visual editors, or similar) • Ability to design for both expert/pro-code and no-/low-code personas in a coherent experience • UX strategy + systems thinking across connected workflows and journeys • High ownership + momentum: takes initiative, drives progress, and thrives in close partnership with PM and Engineering • Candid communication + strong design rationale • Validation mindset (customer/internal) and outcome orientation • Hands-on AI/agentic experience design (guardrails, transparency/confidence, control, evaluating trust/quality) • Proficiency with Figma (or similar); self-organized remote work • Ability and/or willingness to use our product. • Nice-to-haves: • Experience with orchestration/workflow/automation platforms (or adjacent domains like iPaaS, integration platforms, RPA, low-code automation) • Experience designing in-context testing/iteration loops and data/variable visibility (lineage, inputs/outputs, debugging) • Relevant education or equivalent experience: BA/BS or Master’s in HCI, Interaction Design, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience • This role is an existing vacancy • #LI-JE1 #LI-Remote #C1 #LI-DNI • What We Have to Offer: • location • United States: $138,300.00 to $223,000.00 • United Kingdom: £86,800.00 to £142,800.00 • Singapore: S$171,700.00 to S$257,600.00 • If you’re based elsewhere, you’ll be hired via Remote.com (our global employer partner), and your Talent Acquisition Partner will provide a personalized Total Rewards Calculator after your first interview. • Remote.com
Responsibilities
• You’ll help shape Camunda’s workflow modeling and orchestration builder experiences—bringing our powerful orchestration capabilities to life in ways that are both deep for experts and welcoming for less-technical users. You’ll work on high-impact problems that make building production-ready workflows feel intuitive and low-friction, accelerating pro-code teams while enabling no-/low-code users to safely make changes or create simple automations. Embedded with Product Management and Engineering, and collaborating closely with designers across adjacent areas, you’ll improve end-to-end journeys across the platform—including progressive modeling, in-context testing, clear data/variable lineage, and trustworthy AI assistance as Camunda pushes the frontier of enterprise agentic automation.This is a remote role and can be based anywhere within the timezone range UTC -5 to UTC +5:30. • This is a remote role and can be based anywhere within the timezone range • UTC -5 to UTC +5:30
