Requirements
• What are we looking for in a candidate: • You thrive in a foundational role supporting diverse, cross-functional teams as your customers, possess exceptional problem solving and analytical skills. • At least 6 years of professional experience in a platform engineering team within a product-centric company. • Design and implement foundational patterns and libraries for Python applications, across a range of technologies from API services to event processing • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to ensure reproducible and scalable environment setups. • Design and implement infrastructure for applications hosted on AWS, supporting event-driven systems, containerized services on Kubernetes, and serverless functions. • Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD. • Have experience automating the lifecycle management of code from development through production, including code promotion and configuration management. • Instrument observability through tools such as CloudWatch and DataDog to monitor and optimize application performance across multiple environments. • Scale infrastructure to meet increasing demand while managing cost effectively • Have experience defining, instrumenting and measuring standards for quality, security, scalability, and availability with a focus on delivering business value. • Have passion for delivering turn-key developer experience for local development • Keen interest in developing talent through mentorship • Strong written and verbal communication, tailored to a variety of audiences • A strategic thinker with a product-first approach and customer obsession. • Some, or all, of these are true: • You have experience working with an RPC architecture • You work at or have worked at a technology startup and familiar with the challenges of evolving platform maturity • You have first hand experience navigating multiple distributed architecture patterns • Our range reflects the hiring range for this position. We use national average to determine pay as we are a remote first company.
